The Provincial Prior of Northampton, Huntingdon and Bedford, R.E.Kt. Stephen Churchill, had the great pleasure of installing the Provincial Grand Master of the Craft for the Province of Northampton and Huntingdon, Mark Constant, into the Eminent Preceptor’s Chair of the Peter George Preceptory.

The ceremony was carried out with great professionalism, dignity and enjoyment, making it a fitting occasion for all those present.

The evening was made even more special by the attendance of the Provincial Prior’s representative, the Provincial Chancellor, who was received into the Preceptory beneath an impressive Arch of Steel, formed by members of the Provincial Prior’s Bodyguard.

More than 50% of the Bodyguard turned out for what was a particularly meaningful occasion: to pay tribute and express their sincere thanks to Eminent Knight John Mackenzie. It was John who generously purchased swords for every member of the Provincial Bodyguard, and it was clear to everyone present just how much this gesture has meant.

The emotion of the occasion could be seen, and the honour and respect shown by the Chancellor and the Bodyguard made it a very special moment to witness.

The evening was extremely well supported by a large number of Knights, who enjoyed an excellent ceremony followed by a superb Festive Board – something we have all come to expect from the Peter George Preceptory, the Past Preceptors’ Preceptory.

A wonderful evening of Knights Templar Masonry, tradition, generosity and friendship.
